A re-installment of our “Not for the ears alone”, showcasing music that exploits the potential for creativity using both the stage space and the performers’ bodies. These works make powerful musical statements, yet they are best experienced with eyes wide open. Program includes Florent Ghys' "4 Bucolic Machines" (world premiere/Now Hear Ensemble commission), Alexander Schubert's "Hello", Valentín Pelisch's "4 weak receptions from a dying TV (#1- Charles Mingus, Los Ángeles)", Brigitta Muntendorf's "Public Privacy #1: Flute Cover", and the world premiere of a piece by Federico Llach. Featuring Adriane Hill (flute), Amanda Kritzberg (clarinet), Jonathan Morgan (viola), Jennifer Bewerse (cello), Federico Llach (bass), Trevor Anderies (percussion), and Anthony Paul Garcia (percussion/electronics).
